Stump Cross Inn
The current establishment, once a property of the Lister family of Shibden Hall, was built atop the original pub that was buried during the construction of the Godley Lane road cutting in 1827. The Lister family's coat of arms is still prominently displayed above the door. The venue caters to both local patrons and transient customers, with a particular focus on providing quality food. The interior features a semi-open plan design, with the bar and lounge situated to the left of the entrance, and a spacious two-tiered restaurant to the right.
