Owd Joss
The establishment formerly known as 'Last Orders' has undergone a name change and is now known as 'Owd Joss'. This new name is inspired by the large bell housed in the Town Hall clock, which also bears the same name. The bell, and subsequently the establishment, owe their names to Joshua Bradley. Bradley, who was once a child laborer in the mills, rose to prominence and eventually served as the mayor of Hyde. In a generous act, he bequeathed the bell to the town of Hyde. It's important to note that 'Owd Joss' does not serve real ale.
