In October 2020, Joules assumed ownership of the pub following a devastating fire. This pub, which has been modernised for comfort, comprises several snug rooms and is situated opposite Madeley Pool. It was previously a coaching inn and now provides pub food along with ample space for patrons to enjoy their drinks. The pub also features a delightful beer garden for those who prefer an outdoor setting.
