The village is home to a notable three-bar pub that has long been a hub for local community activities. Despite the current structure only being built in 1916, the site's history as a pub extends much further back. The original building was unfortunately destroyed by fire. For a considerable period, the pub remained closed and there were several attempts to repurpose the building. However, it has now been purchased by an individual who is keen to maintain its original function as a pub. The new owner has successfully obtained a new license and is currently overseeing extensive renovation work on the property. We are excited to announce that the pub is expected to reopen in the near future, once again serving as a social and recreational center for the local community.
