Anchor Inn

The Anchor, a traditional single-room pub, has a rich history, having been previously owned by both Wem Brewery and Wrekin Brewery of Wellington. Conveniently located opposite Theatre Severn, it offers a welcoming environment for patrons. The pub's charming front area features a blend of exposed brickwork and wood panelling, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Towards the back of the bar, there is a cosy lounge area equipped with comfortable seating and a dedicated space for darts, providing a perfect spot for relaxation and entertainment. The pub also houses several televisions, strategically placed around the premises, broadcasting a variety of music and sports programming for the enjoyment of its guests. However, it's important to note that while the Anchor does offer limited access for disabled patrons, it unfortunately does not have disabled toilet facilities. Despite this, the pub strives to provide an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all its visitors.
