In March 2015, this establishment underwent a significant refurbishment and reopened as a café bar and grill. The new layout includes seating in the bar area as well as in a renovated courtyard and garden at the back of the premises. The restaurant, along with an open-plan grill and food preparation area, is located at the rear of the pub and can be accessed through the bar. For those seeking a more intimate dining experience, private dining options are available on the upper floor. As of August 21, 2023, the premises came under new ownership. In a move sure to please patrons, the new owners reintroduced real ale to the menu on September 2, 2023.
