Plough
The Plough, a charming street corner pub situated conveniently near the bus station, proudly reopened its doors on 22nd April 2016 after a brief hiatus. This establishment, which was previously known as the Urban Bar and even earlier as the Effingham Arms, underwent a complete refurbishment before its grand reopening. Although real ale was once a staple on the menu, it has since been discontinued. The pub offers a unique vantage point over Effingham Square and the historic Hastings Clock, allowing patrons to soak in the local scenery.
