The Cross Keys
In early 2020, a significant renovation was undertaken to enhance the spatial layout of the establishment. This involved the removal of a partial wall to the left of the entrance, which served to create a more open and welcoming space. Additionally, the bar area was expanded and the staircase was relocated to improve the overall flow and functionality of the space. Despite these changes, the establishment has retained its warm and inviting ambiance. The interior design features charming architectural elements such as exposed beams and a red brick fireplace, which contribute to the cosy atmosphere. The aesthetic is further complemented by the use of tiled and flagged flooring, as well as dark wood furniture, adding a touch of rustic elegance to the space. Moreover, the establishment boasts a spacious beer yard at the rear. This outdoor area provides ample space for patrons to enjoy their beverages in a relaxed, open-air setting. This combination of thoughtful interior design and generous outdoor space ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
