Friendship Tavern

Once upon a time, this establishment was a true treasure of Marston's, both in terms of its beer offerings and its architectural charm. It even earned the honor of Pub of the Month in 1996. The pub features two rooms at the front, a spacious bar and lounge at the back, and an available meeting room upstairs. However, the pub experienced some challenges due to frequent changes in licensee and the unfortunate loss of cask ale. A glimmer of hope appeared in mid-2013 when real ale was reintroduced, although its return was disappointingly short-lived.
