The existing structure, which was built around 1930, replaced the original beerhouse that was established on the site in 1867. In 2013, the building underwent a comprehensive refurbishment, with the upper floors being transformed into independent apartments. The establishment reopened its doors in January 2014, rebranded as an Indian-themed pub and restaurant. Alongside the standard keg selection, patrons can also enjoy popular beers such as Kingfisher and Cobra.
