In early 2023, the beloved real ale was discontinued at our bustling, congenial community pub. This small, yet lively establishment underwent a refurbishment in the summer of 2015, and has since been a favorite spot for locals. The pub boasts a modern open-plan layout, complemented by a few cozy alcoves, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. We pride ourselves on offering beer at competitive prices, and we also host a 'Happy Hour' that runs until 8pm every Monday. Additionally, we have a special day dedicated to our senior patrons every Tuesday, and offer free pool games on the same day. For those interested in a bit of friendly competition, we host poker nights every Wednesday. The weekends are always lively with a DJ and karaoke on both Fridays and Saturdays. We understand the importance of community and camaraderie, which is why we often provide complimentary food during football games broadcasted on our TV. We strive to create a family-friendly environment, and therefore, children are welcome in our pub until 8pm. In summary, our pub is not just a place to enjoy a drink, but a hub for the community to come together, enjoy various activities, and create lasting memories. Despite the discontinuation of real ale, we continue to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere with a range of offerings to cater to all our patrons.
