Shoulder of Mutton
After a hiatus of approximately five years, the Shoulder of Mutton pub reopened its doors in December 2022. The pub's layout features an L-shaped public bar, complemented by a cozy adjoining snug. Additionally, it boasts a dining or function room, making it a versatile space for various events. The interior decor pays homage to Foxton's history, with pictures adorning the bar walls that depict scenes from the town's past. Adding to the nostalgic atmosphere, the snug's wall showcases a piece of brewery memorabilia - a large, framed tin sign advertising the now-defunct Eady & Dulley Market Harborough Brewery. The Shoulder of Mutton also offers an expansive front garden, beautifully maintained and adorned with picnic tables. This outdoor space provides a perfect setting for patrons to enjoy their drinks and meals in a relaxed, open-air environment. The pub's reopening marks a new chapter in its history, promising a blend of traditional charm and modern amenities for its guests.
