Originally named the Northumberland Arms, it was reportedly renamed several decades ago due to the local T&G's frequent meetings in the upstairs room. The pub is a prominent structure, built with dark brick and accented with natural stone features. Recently, it has undergone refurbishment and has been transformed into a modern bar and restaurant.
