Prince of Wales
The quaint and compact single bar corner pub, originally established in 1866 and reconstructed in 1925, boasts a Dutch gable style exterior. Known as Gallagher & Sons from 1993 to 2003, the pub is adorned with an intricately carved bar, a central clock, and several mirrors. Adding to its charm are humorous quotes from renowned drinking legends. The pub also caters to sports enthusiasts with its TV sports facilities. After a temporary closure, the pub underwent a significant makeover and reopened its doors in November 2021. Since its reopening, the pub has been serving one real ale, along with a selection of keg beers and lagers, including the popular BrewDog IPA.
