Newmarket Ale House

Established in 1866, this pub, originally named the New Market Inn, has a rich history. It was likely named so because it was the newest establishment serving the former Metropolitan Cattle Market. Over the years, it has evolved and adapted to changing times and tastes. Despite its name suggesting otherwise, it stopped serving real ale a few years ago. However, it continues to offer a variety of keg beers, including three selections from the popular Brewdog brand. In addition to its beverage offerings, the pub also provides accommodation, making it a convenient spot for travelers or those looking for a unique stay in the city. This establishment, with its historical roots dating back to at least 1864, continues to be a vibrant part of the local community.
