Clifton Arms Hotel
The current building, which dates back to 1839, was initially a small inn situated on the Clifton family's estate. It served as a coaching inn until 1863 when the railway connection to Blackpool was established. Today, it has transformed into a sophisticated 4-star hotel boasting 48 well-appointed rooms and a public bar. The hotel offers a variety of dining options, serving lunch from 12 to 2:30, afternoon tea from 3:30 to 5:30, and dinner from 6:30 to 9:30. The bar currently serves Wainwright real ale, and occasionally, a second ale is offered to accommodate the increased demand during large events and functions.
