Black Horse Inn
The charming stone pub, located on the route from Chorley to Anglezarke, is constructed on the grounds of an old coach house. The pub's cellar, which dates back to 997 AD, and the newer additions from 1577, add a touch of historical significance to the establishment. Despite undergoing considerable modernization, the pub has retained many of its original internal walls, creating three unique sections within the premises. Currently, the pub does not offer food services. However, plans are underway to open the kitchen in November 2023.
