Located in the heart of Marple on Market Street, a new bar with a continental flair has opened its doors. Named Aggie's Bar, it offers a unique drinking experience as it does not serve cask beers, but rather key-keg beers. The building, which was formerly known as The Marple Exchange, has a rich history. The original owner of the bar, Percival Sedgewick, was affectionately known as "Aggie" due to his middle name, Agnew. This charming backstory adds a personal touch to the bar's identity, making it a must-visit spot in Marple's vibrant centre.
