The Ale Gate
Alnwick's inaugural micropub was launched in mid-February 2019, occupying a space that was previously a shop and later an insurance office. The layout of the pub features a single open room with a bar situated on the right side and a raised section towards the back. Patrons can enjoy a diverse and frequently updated selection of beers, served from six handpumps. These beers are sourced from local breweries, providing a taste of the region's unique brewing culture.
