Black Horse Inn
The establishment, originally known as the Horse & Groom, was founded in 1765 and underwent a name change in the 1870s. Since 1889, it has been situated in its current location. The pub now features a single bar, with a dining area situated to the left and a drinking area to the right. Beyond these areas, there is also a conservatory for patrons to enjoy. The pub offers a selection of beers from Charles Wells, along with a variety of guest beers, all served from four handpumps. In addition to the pub, there is also accommodation available in the form of seven rooms. These rooms are located in a motel-style block adjacent to the beer garden, which is situated beyond the rear car park. The pub prides itself on its hearty food offerings, all of which are prepared on-site. This includes a daily breakfast service, available from 7 to 10 in the morning. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a drink, a meal, or even a place to stay, this establishment offers a warm and welcoming environment for all.
