Coalhouse
Previously a bookmaker's establishment, this venue has since become an integral part of Seaham's licensed trade industry. In 2018, the pub underwent a significant refurbishment, incorporating timbers that were over a century old, salvaged from the demolished Co-op building in the town. The interior design pays homage to the area's rich coal-mining history, with a standout feature being a striking mural on one wall that illustrates the Seaham pits. The pub offers a rotating selection of four cask beers and five keg taps, catering to a variety of tastes.
