The Hoptimist

The micropub, which was inaugurated on December 21, 2021, is situated in the heart of Spondon, in a building that was previously a hardware store. The establishment features a single, elegantly finished wooden room, with the bar positioned at a right angle to the rear of the space. A sliding door leads patrons to a fully sheltered area at the back, effectively doubling the pub's size. The interior decor is a blend of benches and standalone chairs, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The walls, though bare and showcasing exposed brick, are adorned with an array of unique and interesting items, adding character and charm to the overall ambiance of the pub.
