Ken's Keg & Cask
Launched on August 11, 2021, Cudworth's inaugural micro-pub is a unique addition to the local hospitality scene. This establishment, housed in a quaint shop unit that was previously a solicitors' office, offers a curated selection of beverages including three types of real ale, five craft beers, and an array of gins. The micro-pub is named in honor of one of the owners' father, a passionate beer enthusiast. The owners have also paid tribute to their local roots by dedicating a wall to the classic film, Kes, which was shot in the vicinity. Interestingly, the owners are alumni of the school featured in the film, further deepening their connection to the community. The opening hours of the pub are flexible, with the possibility of early closures and Sunday lunch openings. Therefore, if you're planning a visit, it's recommended to call ahead to confirm the opening hours. This charming micro-pub is not just a place to enjoy a drink, but also a celebration of local history and personal stories, making it a must-visit destination in Cudworth.
