NIKO, a specialist shop and bar dedicated to craft beer and fine wines, opened its doors in July 2021 on Guildhall Street. The establishment boasts an impressive selection of over a hundred wines, craft beers, and real ciders, along with up to 10 keg lines. In addition to their extensive beverage offerings, NIKO also serves cheese, charcuterie, and pizza, although they do not sell cask ale. Exciting news for beer enthusiasts, the Overtone Brewery Co. Taproom is set to open on the first floor of the NIKO venue on Friday, 27th October 2023. This new addition will feature a variety of the brewery's beers, both on tap and in cans. NIKO's commitment to quality and variety has not gone unnoticed. In fact, the Central Lancashire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) awarded NIKO the prestigious title of Cider Pub of the Year 2022. This recognition further cements NIKO's status as a premier destination for cider, craft beer, and wine lovers alike.
