Constructed in the late 1970s during the development of Washington New Town, the Ox and Plough has undergone a tasteful refurbishment, enhancing both its exterior and interior. The establishment features a bar area on the right, equipped with pool and darts for patrons' entertainment. On the left, you'll find a spacious lounge and a cozy dining area. The venue also includes a small stage, which hosts live music performances on weekends. The Ox and Plough is conveniently located near bus stops, although it's important to note that there is a bus-only link outside. For those driving, the pub's car park can be found on the west side, along Raby Road. Please be aware that the pub's opening hours fluctuate throughout the week and it remains closed on Mondays.
