In late April 2019, a new micropub was launched near the bus station, conveniently accessible via the number 12 bus to Eldon Square, Newcastle. This unique establishment is a single-room pub, featuring large windows that infuse the space with a bright and airy ambiance. The interior decor is distinctive, with walls adorned with shelves brimming with gin bottles, faux bookshelves, and a vintage 1870 Kensington station clock, adding a touch of historical charm.
