The Penny Tap
When Sixpenny Brewery relocated to a larger facility outside the village, it resulted in the closure of the brewery tap. However, a dedicated group of local residents took it upon themselves to fill this gap. They decided to utilize the Sports Pavilion and successfully established a bar and cellar there. This new establishment now serves as a central hub for both sports and social gatherings within the village. It also offers a diverse selection of beers from local microbreweries. Additionally, the bar extends its operating hours to accommodate local events.
