The pub provides an impressive selection of beers and ciders, predominantly sourced from local breweries such as Ramsgate, Northdown, and Five Point. The establishment has been thoughtfully renovated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Initially, it will operate from Thursday to Sunday, from 12 noon to 11 pm, until autumn, when it will return to its regular schedule. From October, patrons will also have the opportunity to utilize the pub for hot-desking during daytime hours. The pub's name pays homage to a train that once operated on the London Chatham Dover Railway, which was itself named after a renowned bard.
