Whitesmiths Arms
This charming 19th-century pub, once frequented by dockers and named in honor of maritime metal-workers, has been thoughtfully expanded to include the neighboring 15th-century building. This historic structure is one of the few that survived the Royalist siege of 1643 outside the city walls. The pub is family-friendly and boasts a spacious garden for patrons to enjoy. However, please note that food service is not available on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
