St Leger
The premises, dating back to the late Victorian era, were once owned by ScotCo. Interestingly, during that period, the establishment was recognized as a Courage pub, which was quite unusual. It is hoped that the original Beverleys windows are still intact. The management of the property was under A-Line Leisure Ltd, and it operated with a license until 1am daily. The transition from being known as the Queen to the St Leger was a gradual process.
