The Anchor is a historic pub that has undergone extensive renovations in recent years, resulting in a more contemporary and inviting ambiance. The updated design offers a warm and comfortable environment, perfect for leisurely visits. The bar is centrally located, encircled by three distinct rooms, and is complemented by a spacious, separate dining area that can accommodate up to 50 guests. The lounge area, situated on the inner side, features a variety of seating options, both low and high, and is adorned with fascinating vintage photographs of Whitchurch. However, it's worth noting that as of 2019, the pub no longer serves cask beer.
