The Rainbow
The site's first establishment was the Sun Inn, dating back to 1770, which inspired the name for Sun Lane. In 1901, it was listed as the Rainbow Inn. This centrally located pub features two rooms and a spacious outdoor drinking area, complete with a pergola at the back. The Rainbow Inn is known for its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, making it a popular spot for the LGBTQ+ community. The pub hosts a Quiz Night every Wednesday, providing a fun and engaging environment for patrons. Additionally, every Thursday, the Rainbow Inn livens up with its unique Camp Bingo Bongo Bingo event.
