The Chapel
Opened in August 2012, this real ale and cider pub offers a unique ambiance that blends the charm of a non-conformist chapel with the allure of a vintage library. The interior is adorned with bookshelves reaching from floor to ceiling throughout the premises, including the upstairs drinking areas. Initially, the pub served ales, ciders, and perries on direct gravity dispense. However, in 2016, the establishment upgraded to handpumps for a more traditional and authentic experience. Please note that while the pub strives to maintain its stated operating hours, it may occasionally close earlier based on customer traffic. However, rest assured that the doors will always remain open until at least 10pm.
