The Malt Shovel Inn

This well-liked and well-maintained pub is primarily frequented by locals. Despite being situated in an area overshadowed by the recent development of large retail and leisure complexes, it still manages to preserve a quaint, village-like ambiance. At present, the pub does not serve cask ale. A noteworthy feature of the area is a striking cast iron urinal located behind the bus stop in the front garden of the neighboring bungalow, which can be viewed in our photo gallery.
