The Eagle
Established in 1885 as the Old Street House, this venue was originally a robust, edge-of-town pub with a concert room, situated in what was once a residential area but has since transformed into a predominantly industrial and car sales district. It was, and remains, a popular gathering spot for other local licensees, also known as the Eagle Hotel. In 2012, the pub began offering local ales to its patrons. However, it appears that cask ales are no longer consistently available, so it's worth checking if you're in the area. The opening hours listed are in accordance with the terms of the pub's license.
