The Hop Pole
The Bath Ales pub, located half a mile west of the city center and adjacent to the Royal Victoria Park and River Avon, is now under new management. This tenanted pub, which is popular among families for its spacious and enclosed beer garden, was refurbished and reopened in November 2022. The same management team is also in charge of the Ram in Widcombe. The pub typically serves Gem and Proper Job, and occasionally features a guest beer from the St Austell range, often the Tribute. In addition to its drink offerings, the pub has also resumed serving food. This establishment's strategic location and wide range of offerings make it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
