Woodman Inn

The establishment, believed to be the oldest pub in town, is distinguished by a memorial stone dating back to 1680. It was initially owned by Edward Roberts & Son of Farnley Tyas, followed by Bentley's Yorkshire Breweries. In 1984, it became a free house for two decades before being acquired by the Tadcaster Pub Company. The pub's rear bar is adorned with numerous sports team photos and memorabilia, contributing to its unique charm. Additionally, the L-shaped lounge, complete with open fires, offers a warm and inviting ambiance. Please note that the pub may close earlier than usual during quieter periods, and it does not accept credit card payments.
