The Sports Bar, located within the Ashbrooke Conservation Area, warmly welcomes both members and non-members to enjoy its selection of real ale. The bar features three handpulls, offering a rotating variety of real ales to cater to diverse tastes. Among these, Double Maxim is a crowd favorite, consistently drawing in patrons. Every Friday night, the Sports Bar hosts a special cask night. During this event, all ales are priced at an affordable £3.10 per pint, as of May 2022. This provides a fantastic opportunity for ale enthusiasts to sample different brews without breaking the bank. In addition to its regular offerings, the Sports Bar also organizes an annual beer festival every July. This event showcases a wide range of beers, making it a must-visit for beer lovers. Please note that only street parking is available for those driving to the bar. For those using public transport, the bar is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the Park Lane Interchange.
