The Rising Sun
The thriving local village was under threat of being converted into a Tesco supermarket. However, this was successfully prevented thanks to the ACV listing by licensee Rob Clay and Hudds CAMRA in October 2015. Since then, the village has continued to flourish, demonstrating that the loss of this pub would have been a significant misfortune.
