Ring o' Bells
The pub, renowned for its customer-centric approach, draws a diverse crowd, ranging from Morris dancers and sports teams to locals and visitors of the neighboring picturesque 12th-century parish church. As the oldest licensed establishment in Halifax, it boasts a rich history of over 400 years, with a unique feature being a 1635 headstone incorporated into one of its cellar walls. The pub offers a cozy lounge and an adjoining room for patrons to enjoy. Under new management since August 2022, plans are underway to reintroduce daily food service by Spring 2023.
