Old Ferry Boat Inn
This charming riverside pub, with its thatched roof and oak beams, is reminiscent of a picture postcard. Dating back to the 17th century, it is reputed to be England's oldest inn, although this title is also claimed by several others. The pub has managed to retain its unspoiled and unaltered charm until it was unfortunately hit by a devastating fire a few years ago. Despite this, the pub has been carefully reconstructed, maintaining its quaint and idyllic appeal. The establishment also boasts a spacious garden that stretches all the way down to the river, adding to its overall charm.
