Manx Arms
The establishment, which was once a bustling hub for real ale enthusiasts, had to close its doors in June 2008. However, it was able to reopen just two months later in August 2008. Unfortunately, the pub no longer serves real ale and has transitioned to offering only keg beers. In the 1990s, the pub had a brief period where it served Manx beers, which were brewed in its own cellar brewery. This unique offering added to the pub's charm and appeal. In the same decade, the pub underwent a significant expansion. This extension added a new dimension to the pub's atmosphere and amenities, including a pool table and a large screen TV. These additions have helped to create a more diverse and engaging environment for patrons. Despite the changes over the years, the pub continues to be a place of gathering and enjoyment.
