Dacre Arms

Located in the heart of the village, this historic inn has been a prominent fixture since the 16th century. Previously known as the Cross Keys, it has a rich history, having served as a Posting Station with stabling for 50 horses and even housing the local Court of Justice. The entrance to the bar is conveniently situated at the rear of the pub, accessible from the car park. The dining area, on the other hand, is located at the front, offering a welcoming ambiance for guests. Adding to its charm, the inn serves breakfast from 9:30 to 11:30 every Sunday, providing a perfect start to the day for both locals and visitors alike. This establishment seamlessly blends history with modern convenience, making it a must-visit destination in the village.
