The Castle Inn
The village pub, which reopened in April 2023, features two bars - a lounge bar at the front and a Castle bar at the back, complete with a pool table. There is also outdoor seating available along the roadside and on the side of the pub. This establishment serves as an excellent starting point for a leisurely walk to the nearby ruins of Wigmore Castle, the historic fortress that was once the home of the powerful Mortimer family. The pub management is also in the process of planning to introduce a food menu in the near future.
