The White Horse
In March 2020, the pub underwent a refurbishment process and was subsequently unable to reopen due to the Covid-19 lockdown. However, it finally resumed operations on July 4th, 2020. Unfortunately, the reopening did not include the availability of cask ale, as the handpumps had been removed. Despite this, the pub remains a large and spacious establishment, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the High Street. It continues to attract a diverse clientele, spanning various age groups. The pub also features enclosed booths, catering to those who prefer a more private setting.
