The Royal Oak
The Greene King pub, initially constructed as a roadside inn in 1758 and later expanded in 1889, has recently been revamped to serve as a Real Ale pub with a dedicated dining area. The pub also features a separate function room, known as The Cabin, located at the rear of the property. This space, which underwent extensive refurbishment in 2016, is ideal for hosting private events. The Cabin is also believed to have historical ties with the Royal Air Force. Additionally, the pub's upstairs room is equipped with a pool table and darts for patrons seeking a bit of leisurely entertainment.
