Royal London

In 1998, Bass Taverns proposed a project to transform a section of the Royal London building, a Grade II listed property, into a bar. The proposal was approved and the renovation work began, leading to the establishment's public opening in January 1999. The bar's signage was a replica of the famous painting, 'The Scream'. Today, the pub is a part of the Stonegate portfolio and it provides special discounts to students from the adjacent university.
