The Old Chestnut Tree Inn
This historic building, dating back to the 16th century, retains numerous original features. Among these are an inglenook fireplace, constructed with stones salvaged from Pershore Abbey following its dissolution by King Henry VIII, and a priest hole nestled within the substantial chimney structure. In the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, the building served as The Chestnut Club, a popular local pub. It also boasts the distinction of having the smallest officially recognized ballroom in the country. The building's interior includes an open bar and a cozy snug, both featuring exposed beams. Additionally, there is a games room equipped with darts, pool, and a television.
