Metro Radio Arena
The Utilita Arena, previously known as the Metro Radio Arena, is the largest and most frequented entertainment and sports venue in Newcastle, with a seating capacity of 11,000. The arena is not only a hub for sports and entertainment, but also features an ice rink. It was initially the home ground for the Newcastle Vipers ice hockey team and the Newcastle Eagles basketball team. However, these teams have since relocated, which has allowed the arena to expand its focus on music and entertainment events.
