The Junction Inn
The traditional local establishment boasts a welcoming ambiance. Its unique horseshoe-shaped bar serves two types of real ales, with one being a frequently rotated guest ale. The seating area is conveniently arranged around the bar, providing an intimate setting for patrons. Additionally, there is a separate, smaller area that houses a pool room for those interested in a game or two. This establishment has a rich history, having been constructed before Halwill earned the distinction of being the country's 'largest single line junction.' The former station site has since been converted into residential houses, with one of the roads humorously named 'Beeching Close.' This local spot offers a blend of history, tradition, and a friendly atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination.
